Hello and Welcome!

My name is Ally Miller, and I am currently serving my first term as  Supervisor for Pima County District 1.  I was sworn in to office January, 2013.jeff-ally

My husband Jeff and I have lived in Pima County for more than 30 years.     We live in Northwest Tucson and have been married for more than 20 years.  We are lovers of animals and  are blessed with a sweet Pekingese named Bella.

I am a   republican precinct committeewoman and have been active in local politics since 2008. I am passionate about honest and fair governance. I came to the realization  we all need to actively participate in governance or we will lose control and accountability.   One need only look around Pima County to see what has happened as we faithfully paid our taxes and assumed the right things were being done.

My education includes a BS in Finance from the University of Arizona and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Eller school of management.

I worked many years in the private sector including several years in the aerospace and semiconductor industries. My background in corporate finance, accounting and budgeting provide the experience and understanding necessary to effectively manage county government. We need fiscal restraint  and  common sense practices  to make this community thrive.bella campaigning 010

My commitment to restore trust in Pima county government is successfully underway. I have exposed and stopped spending practices that were in violation of the state constitution.  Within 4 months of being sworn in, I held the first ever budget review session for Pima County  and moved to allow citizens the right to speak at the beginning of  board meetings.  When the board majority refused to allow citizens online access to videos of the board meetings, I began posting important clips and complete videos of the meetings on my website and you tube channel.

There is more work to be done and I have decided to run for a second term.   I am asking for your support in 2016.   It has been an honor to serve you for these past 3 years and I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail soon!

Together we can get Pima County on the right track!
